Who we are 

We are two 2020 UCLA graduates, who decided to start a project that turned into a company during the pandemic. Project Memory Co.is an e-commerce startup focused on empowering people to preserve their memories through hands-on storytelling. We launched our first product, a modern photo album called The Chronicle Photo Journal, in December 2020 and have been growing rapidly since. 

 

We are looking for someone passionate about digital marketing, social media, content creation, and growth strategy to help us tap into new audiences and strengthen our relationship with our current customer base. Right now, we are focusing on growing our presence on multiple social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest) and building our brand.

 

Potential areas of focus:
  • Identify potential segments and niches on social media platforms that we can target as new audiences

  • Develop our Pinterest page with the goal of growing a community/audience on the platform and driving traffic to our website 

  • Research Instagram and TikTok content ideas

  • Lead outreach efforts for partnerships for content creators on TikTok and Instagram

  • Plan and execute content for our biweekly email campaigns 

  • Be involved in product design for future product launches

 

Schedule

This is a remote, part-time flexible internship. Interns are expected to work a minimum of 7 hours/week, and we are happy to adjust this to your schedule as needed.

 

Expected outcomes:

At the end of this internship, you will have owned 2-3 projects. We’ll set the goals together, and you’ll take on the execution. Be creative and have fun, and we’ll be there to support you every step of the way!

 

Qualifications:
  • Experience with platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, and/or Etsy

  • Exposure to basic entrepreneurship frameworks and concepts

  • Experience with digital marketing and analytics preferred, but not required 

  • Need to be enrolled in college and preferably using this internship for class credit

 

Compensation

This is an unpaid internship with a monthly stipend.
